Opt out of text messages
You are always in control of the messages you receive from Marinerreview. If you joined our "Marinerreview Account Alerts" text program and no longer want to get texts, you can stop them in a single step. You do not need to sign in, and you do not need to tell us why.
The fastest way: reply STOP
Reply STOP to any text message from us. The words STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT work too, in capital or lowercase letters. Once we receive your reply, we stop all text messages to that number straight away and send you one short confirmation so you know it worked. You will not get further texts from us unless you choose to sign up again.
What opting out does
- Text messages to your mobile number stop. This covers account notices, registration confirmations, security alerts, and customer-service replies sent by text.
- Your Marinerreview account stays open. Your family trees, photographs, stories, and settings are not changed.
- Opting out of texts does not affect your ability to use the Service. Text messages were always optional.
- Essential account messages, such as security notices and changes to our policies, may still reach you by email.
- If you have not opted in to texts, you will not receive any, and there is nothing you need to do.

If you do not have your phone handy, or you want to stop email messages as well, use the form on this page. Enter the mobile number or email address you used when you registered and submit it. That is all that is needed.
How quickly we act
- Text messages: opt-outs are processed immediately. Texts stop as soon as we receive your request. In rare cases a message that was already on its way may still arrive.
- Email: we process email opt-out requests promptly and always within 10 days. During that short window you may still receive a message that was already queued.
